Computer Virus Warning Signs ? Think Your Computer Is Infected?
People often ask, what are the top computer virus warning signs? Sometimes people suspect that their computer is infected, but can’t quite determine for sure. Other times they are using an older or inferior antispyware/antivirus program that has trouble detecting the latest threats. Well here are three surefire computer virus warning signs that your computer is infected.
1. You are getting pop up alerts warning that you have spyware or viruses on your system. These pop ups will have danger signs and explicit warnings while providing a link to download their software. This could be a number of different warnings such as:
Warning spyware detected on your computer! Windows has detected spyware infection Warning spyware threat has been detected on your PC! You have a security problem!
Don’t take the bait. They are rogue antispyware programs promoting false virus warnings. Proceed with caution.
2. Your desktop settings or browser home page have changed without your permission. The very deadly and newer forms of spyware and viruses will infect your registry files and alter your settings. Then they will prevent you from changing them back. One example is the desktop virus warning. This requires an antivirus program that can scan the registry, otherwise you are fighting an impossible battle.
3. Your computer is operating much more slowly than before. Spyware and viruses will seek to slow down your system as a means of getting you to download their rogue software. Once you download the software they will get your personal information (if they haven’t gotten it already) and infect your system further.
If you see notice any of these three computer virus warnings signs then I would say there is a very good chance your computer is infected. But to be certain you should scan your computer with the best antivirus program on the net. With deep registry scanning and the largest “threat database” out there, this program will find just about everything. Try it out below.

Strange Pop-Ups Are Telling Me That My Computer is Infected!
There you are, sitting in your room or office, surfing the world wide web, minding your own business, when suddenly, you get a pop-up window telling you that you have 117 virus infections and the only way to remove them is to get to a special website. If you click on the link, it takes you to a website where you are told you need to buy their software in order to remove the infections from your computer. DON’T DO IT! The only thing that will happen if you give them your credit card information is that they will take your money and possibly target you for identity theft. This is exactly what this kind of program is designed to do.
I have an antivirus program, why did it not find these infections? That is a question we all ask ourselves when this happens. If you look closely at the pop-up messages, you will find they are NOT coming from your antivirus program. The truth is, you don’t have a virus for the antivirus program to detect. These pop-ups are just lies to get you to give them your credit card. The pop-ups are generated by a rogue program that is technically called malware. This bit of code gets on your computer from other files that you downloaded or can you can get it from questionable websites and banner ads that you click on. Once it gets in, it installs itself deeply and will not show up in the add/remove program list. Some common versions of this kind of program are called “Win XP Antivirus 2008/2009″, “CoreGuard” “Virus Remover 2008″ and “Power Antivirus 2009″. They are all the same, they look almost identical except for the name at the top of the window and they are all designed to get you to give them your credit card info.
So what do you do now? You need a program designed to remove this kind of thing. You need a program that is designed to work with your antivirus program to plug the holes in your security that it doesn’t. This program is called “Malwarebytes” and can be downloaded for FREE. Once you install it, simply run a scan or two and it will remove these rogue programs and you will not be bothered by those pop-ups again.

Why does my computer freeze up when I open “My Pictures?”?
Yesterday my computer started freezing up everytime I try to open “My Pictures.” I originally figured it out when I went to upload some pictures to photobucket. Then I tried to open the my pictures folder through my start menu and it froze up just the same. I can’t exit, switch to any other program, and I can’t even get task manager to pop up and end the program. I then have to hard shut down my computer, which I know is not very good for it. There is nothing wrong with any of my other programs. I also, the day before, triped over one of my computer cords and the tower fell from the top of the computer desk down about 2 or 3 feet to the floor. I thought maybe that could be my problem, but I don’t get why it would only affect my pictures program. Any constructive advice is greatly appreciated, but if you have rude comments, keep them to yourself. If I need to replace anything, could you recommend a product?

How To Avoid Hiring A Costly Computer Repair Technician When Your Pc Is Infected With Malware
If you’ve ever suffered from Malware, you know what a pain it can be trying to remove the problem. If you haven’t gotten any form of Malware, consider yourself lucky, but you need to realize that there is a good chance that at some point you run the risk of having your computer get infected. As a PC repair specialist, I can’t even begin to describe how difficult it can be to clean an infected PC and get it running as it was before it got Malware. It is a time consuming process and I end up having to charge quite a large amount to fix these problem computers. That is why I want to tell you about the latest Malware removal tools available on the web.
Believe it or not, even though I make good money fixing these computers, I would rather not have to charge for these costly repairs. The good news is these new software removal tools cost much less than a technician such as myself and they do a fantastic job cleaning and fixing your PC.
Here is how they work:
You visit a website offering a Malware cleaning tool and press a button to scan your computer. After the scan is completed the website will inform you of any infections, such as trojans, backdoor programs, worms, that may be on your computer. After that, you press another button to let the online software clean your PC of the infection. In fact, it couldn’t be easier.
These sites maintain a huge, current database of the latest threats to your computer. And while new threats pop up everyday, these sites are on top of reacting to these threats. Once your system has been scanned and cleaned from any infection, make sure that you schedule regular scans to avoid any future issues.
And that is how you avoid having to pay someone like myself to fix your PC. These sites are much cheaper as well!
The best website I have found for removing malware is:
