I need a pop-up or light-box plug-in for joomla that can be customized with an email field for signing up to our constant contact newsletter. It should pop-up over the homepage when you first visit it. Any ideas?

3.    Your computer is operating much more slowly than before.  Spyware and viruses will seek to slow down your system as a means of getting you to download their rogue software.  Once you download the software they will get your personal information (if they haven’t gotten it already) and infect your system further.

I kind of do, I have vague fuzzy memories of inexpensive horror films attempting to push SuchandSuchgetsMaimedandMurdered 3D!!!!!! now and again during the late eighties and early nineties. I’m going to admit the one thing I saw in theaters with the legendary 3D aspect was ‘The Nightmare Before Xmas a couple of years gone, and the sole remotely 3 dimensional part was the pumpkin at the beginning making an attempt to psych you up for the superb 3D! That was about to slam into your eye sockets. Obviously I did not expect much after that.

Now, there’s a steady push in the market for 3D in *television*, particularly in the realm of gaming. I believed it was impossible, that kind of thing could surely only be available in, THE FUTURE. But you can at this time, in fact drop anywhere from 8 hundred-to one thousand on a fair tower able for 3D computer game play. Since I like to presume that many people are like me and do not have a HDTV ( Ok, I don’t have a TV at all ), we will not have to worry about spending scratch on a new TV just to keep up with the neighbors. Particularly since we are going to be just about required to buy a totally new group of games to play, since we can’t be in a position to play ANY of the games currently out there on these new 3D systems, they just don’t have the framerate required. Now, this doesn’t take away from the dazzling things I have heard about 3D gaming, in fact it could be the way forward for gaming. I further said the same thing about the Wii, but this time I suspect I’m right. I know Microsofts next-gen console will have 3D technology built in, and if that doesn’t change the way we game I do not know what will.

As per usual, it will take a bit for 3D anything to become reasonable. And it will not really become wide-ranging until console’s are pushing it, it’ll be a few years before we see that. Not to worry though, remember when DVD players were going for a grand a pop? I am doing, and it’s 10 years later and you’ll be able to find a good one on the sidewalk during Bulk garbage Night. If your desperate for some 3D like it 1985 however , imaginary just announced that it’s unreal Engine will shortly be able to go 3D with a straightforward switch flip. A decent gaming rig with a young graphics card connected up to a 120Hz monitor can handle a lot of games in 3D at the moment, but Nvidia’s 3DTC Play just commented that shortly you will be able to hook up a gaming PC to a 3D HDTV. In all truth though, if you’re actually going to spend the money on a first gen 3D HDTV, you can’t overlook a computer that will 3D GAME. I don’t care how much you loved Nightmare before Yuletide, seeing it in 3D in you living room will never match up to the awesome that is playing a game like Bioshock in all it’s 3D glory.

Crowded House tickets, for at least a decade, were some of the most sought-after concert tickets in the world, as the rock band that proudly represented Australia with their pop-rock style and chart-topping hits. After several years apart, the band is getting back together for another tour, and that’s got music fans excited all over the world. A look at the band’s history could help explain this high degree of anticipation.

Beginnings

The origins of the band began to come together in 1985 in Melbourne, Australia. The band was originally called “The Mullanes,” and they gained notice around Australia and New Zealand by banging around in local clubs and perfecting their fresh rock style. These live shows soon garnered them notice, and they signed a record deal and relocated to Los Angeles to get to work in the studio.

The band released their self-titled debut album in 1986, and unfortunately, Capital Records did not see a lot of potential with the release, so it didn’t get a lot of support or publicity. However, the band continued to tour aggressively, and their live style resulted in a loyal following. Crowded House tickets became a hot item, especially after their single “Don’t Dream It’s Over” was released and became an international hit.

Success

After a mildly successful follow-up release in 1988, Crowded House gained worldwide fame with their 1991 release, Woodface. The album climbed inside the Top Ten on the charts in both Australia and the UK, and set the stage for their subsequent releases to all enjoy significant commercial success.

The band continued to grow in stature, and their real acclaim came as a result of their intense and engaging live performance style. They have always toured relentlessly, and their fans even adopted a name for themselves. “Crowdies” could be seen at every stop on every one of their tours, and this fan base is what inspired the members to continue on within the industry.

Going Forward

On November 24, 1996, the band played a farewell concert on the steps of the Sydney Opera house, and the estimates for the size of that crowd range from 120,000 to 250,000. The band from there quietly went their separate ways, but years later, rumors began to surface that they were considering a reunion.

Those rumors proved true recently, as Crowded House will once again embark on a tour. It’s been over 10 years since their last foray onto the stage, which means that Crowdies everywhere will be lining up in anticipation of their shows. The exceptionally talented Pop group TLC have released their CD entitled Fanmail. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe TLC fans, and Pop fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Fanmail their artistic excellence is on full display as they have once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be their best work to date.

I wish it weren’t the case but, it’s not everyday that I get a CD for review that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can’t force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Fanmail. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

These days it’s a very rare CD on which every single song is good or better than the one before it. This CD is certainly one of those rare CDs.

Listen to Fanmail and I believe you’ll find there’s not much to dis-like about it. The songs are inspired, the production is simply outstanding, and this is clearly the work of a group of musicians in top form. So much so that if you’re even mildly into Pop music you’ll enjoy this CD.

While the entire CD is really very good some of my favorites are track 6 – I’m Good At Being Bad, track 8 – I Miss You So Much, and track 17 – Don’t Pull Out On Me Yet

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 – Fanmail. It’s a great track!
